Credentials

This photo represents, I believe, my most significant credential: my marriage to John, the love of my life for over 20 years. I wish the safety, joy, and passion of this relationship to all of you.

My New Jersey license in clinical social work qualifies me to provide counseling and psychotherapy to couples, individuals, and families.

In addition to earning my MSW at Rutgers University, I have received advanced training at the Family Institute of Westchester, The Association of Death Education and Counseling, Domestic Abuse Services, The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and The Stepfamily Foundation of NYC.

In addition to earning my certification as an Imago Relationship Therapist, I have also completed a training with John Gottman, Ph.d, where I learned an exciting, research based approach to marital therapy.

I wrote and presented a mental health series on Monroe (CT) Cable Television.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy all creative writing, particularly poetry, and have published essays and feature articles in various newspapers and literary magazines. I am also madly in love with Decoupage.

I love my family, my Maine coon cats Max and Molly, movies, Italy, antiques, and friends who make me roar with laughter. Nature is my favorite song.
