Career Coaching

With the current economic recession, have you found yourself without a job and unsure of the next step? Are you currently in a career, but wondering is there more and contemplating a career change? Do you know what direction you want to go in, but are fears or lack of a plan blocking you from achieving your goal?

Career coaching helps an individual create new ways of thinking about their career and personal mastery. Individuals become aware of the source of their current limitations and the ability to alter that source. Through career coaching, individuals will also learn effective job search strategies, current employment trends, powerful resume writing and interview tips, and strong networking skills.

This is achieved through utilizing techniques from the Michelangelo Method, which was created by Ron Paxton and Ken Schuman. It has been recognized by many in the media, including Oprah. Depending on your goals, the Michelangelo Method book and workbook include the following phases:

  • Alignment strategies—What do I want? Where do my values, passions, and strengths intersect?
  • Transition strategies—Once I find out what I want, how do I get there?
  • Mastery strategies—How do I achieve success? What are my next steps, commitments, and resources?

Career Path Discovery

Picking a career can be a fun and exciting time, but also a scary one. There are so many options to choose from and it can be hard to discover what really excites you or what you are passionate about. Speaking with a career coach can help clarify your dreams and goals through strength-based goal oriented questioning and assessments.
